I need help with pc!

So over the last month i have had some really choppy frames in minecraft, however this is not in any other game.I have tried reinstalling java, minecraft itself and even tried reinstalling windows. You might be thinking would this be a hardware problem then? Well thats what i think but im a bit confused, as this is not happening with any other game. The more fps it says im getting is the more choppier it is. And yes i do have the right java etc and i also clean/defrag my pc bi-daily.

Any help is much appreciated!

Pc Specs: i5 4440k 3.1 ghz cpu
Gigabyte gtx 760
8 gb ram
1 tb Harddrive

Keep in mind this has only started happening recently and i have had my pc since April.

I used to have a similar problem with random fps drops, the solution was to dust off my fans. But then it should affect all your games, not just MC.

For some reason this happened to me to one random day :\ I wish I knew what I did for my frames to become insanely bad now as well.

Yeah that what i find the strangest thing about it thats its only mc! Oh well i will give dusting my fans ago again thanks for the suggestion!

I recommend using cotton buds (maybe soaked in water to absorb the dust)

Now what I think is he problem: It isn't the OS, its the stuff you have on your hardrive. Make sure you get it cleaned up, and try uninstalling a few programs.

NAh i have gone threw all my programs theres nothing that should do anything to lag my pc

Thats for the suggestion i have clean out my fans but that didnt really work :/

Have you tried allocating more RAM to Minecraft?

If you don't know how to do it, there are many tutorials on Youtube about it.
