Clan disrespect

Lately I've been sort of "reffing" clan battles, and I just want people to stop saying DQ over everything and being unsportsmanlike, clans are trying to hard to have a "Perfect" record and battles aren't even fun anymore, people lost the fun in battles and now it's all about winning. So, I doubt it'll go back to the old days where clans were actually good sports, but I ask that people at least try. Clan battles used to last about 1 hour, but now they last about 3 due to all the drama. REMEMBER ITS ABOUT HAVING FUN, NOT ABOUT WINNING.

lol I was actually in game yesterday during a clan battle.. end up getting beat by one of the clan members because everytime I was beating him.. he ran to his clean... regen.. then came back to fight me "1v1". Eventually he got me after running so many times >_<. Then after he beat me.. i got the whole "you suck", "get good" gg10 blah blah.

We'll my clan was playing a clan battle and a certain player in the lobby knew there was a clan battle so he targeted me and my 2 or 3 other clan members off corn with his full iron stone sword, He killed us. (I think you know what comes next -_-) "Ez, Rekt, GG 10, What a bad clan!, l2p..... And on and on. So I think this kind of needs to stop, but I don't think it will players can't not interfere in clan battles. They think if they kill the clan there good or they do it just to tick the clan off and then follow them into the next games.

Guys let's not ruin the name of clans just because of a few past experiences you might have had with some.
Most of those clans that do that aren't really in the loop of what's going on in the clan scene. Also, if there's a clan battle and they ask you nicely to leave then I would suggest doing so because it prevents flame and doesn't get you into a 7v1 situation

Actually, clans won't get disbanded from that; however, they will most likely receive other punishments such as a blacklist. Trust me, it takes a lot of stupidity to get disbanded.

I have had some experiences with clans, though I never like joining them for this very reason. The clans get over competitive and the people lose the aspects that clans were meant to add to SG when we hit a certain level of skill.

Essentially clans are about teams and that is what it should be focused on. Being in a clan is a teamwork exercise, where two groups of members are pitted against each other to see who can kill all of the other side first. What makes the teamwork important is that even if Huahwi with aimbot decides to show up a team of 8 could beat him in a 1v8. No individual player can beat an entire team working together.

This is not unlike sports like soccer or hockey or just about any team sport except for baseball and cricket. While it technically is possible, when a single player is able to take on an entire team is normally considered as brilliance and not very common. Besides, these sorts of things normally happen when players go once at a time instead of as a team.

I'm not saying MCSG is a sport, but that team building aspect is lost when sportsmanship is replaced by a massive desire to win, in anyway possible. It happens in real sports, where players appeal for fouls, but never do you see a situation where people would cause a massive fight and huge arguments *normally* that leave clans in fierce rivalries and can even sometimes tear apart a clan from the inside.

Obviously fights happen in real sports but the normalcy and frequency in clan battles is at a whole other stage.
