If they do their job well, then yes (lots of moderators focus more in-game and on the Teamspeak, so proving their worth by the amount of posts they have would be silly).Would you want some random with no posts that no one knows getting mod?

Well you do need to be familiar with the mechanics and the ways around the forums as well, but what I was trying to convey was that being popular or posting A LOT isn't a major, or even minor factor when declining or accepting moderators. How many posts did you have when you applied?

Hmm that's odd. Are you sure that's the reason why you were declined? That's a weak reason to get declined, because I've heard of people with less than 50 posts getting moderator...
