Youtube Help/Questions

Now I wanna start getting back into youtube again. It's really fun but there are a few problems. I used to edit all my movies with iMovie and now when I import some of the videos onto iMovie, they appear red... which is really weird. Also I need to make an intro...what's a good channel without an intro? So my questions:

-What do you use to edit videos? (for mac users)
-Can I fix that problem on iMovie
-Can somebody make me an intro? (Doesn't have to be professional )
-Is there a way I can make an intro with a Mac?

iMovie is great for editing on Mac!

The problem where it's red has never happened to me, so I can not help with that. Maybe try to reinstall it.
