After a major community-wide announcement on these forums, any reply of "FIRST!"; bonus points when they follow it up with, "lol wuts this even about?"

I spend a good amount of time with each and every long, elaborate explanation of a recent event, decision, or announcement to the community. There's always a lot of information to be conveyed, often requiring complex explanations of circumstance and rationale. Sometimes those threads require hours of planning, drafting, and proof-reading to create. I would expect the courtesy- or at least the common decency- for people to read what's being said before saying anything in response. Those empty posts, and the people who make them, deserve to take home the Ecce Homo Award for "worst audience contribution to an original work".
