Who have you meet in real life through MCSG?

I know a ton of people in community have meet each other either at events, minecon, etc. But how did you meet and are you still friends today? I myself haven't really had a connection in real life with anyone but it would be cool to meet one of my close friends IRL. Do you find it weird that you meet a certain friend through a video game, and then you have a close relationship now? What do you think tell me about it.
