Hey guys, so mcsg has gotten pretty upsetting for ME (quote me). This is because of the lag that i experience during a fight or a game. When i have 200 ping i can barely fight anyone.I release an arrow from a bow,and it takes like 3 seconds to actually launch.Same with the fishing rod,its pretty much useless with the lag.Today i got up to 900 ping, and i couldn't even open a chest.I went to a lobby today,5 times and it crashed all 5 times! I was soo pissed.I fought a hacker today on turbulence. He had no knockback,Sprinting While Pulling back his bow, forcefield, everything! Now i have to admit that sometimes i don't lag and i have about 100 ping at most 180,and this makes me happy. But that barely happens.Yeah Yeah i know you guys are gonna say get a new computer! But i really don't want to get a new computer because it costs quite a lot of dough.I tried ca servers but there is never any one there. This is not a goodbye, its is a question i am asking you.
What Should I Do?
(By the way, a long time ago I was for some reason very frustrated or something and deleted minecraft.jar folder so don't suggest mods)

There are plenty of things to boost your internet. Getting a new computer won't help your ping.

Buying better internet and moving closer to the data center should help.

There are ways to get better ping, and a new computer may help, but it is understandable why you wouldn't want to. Here are a couple tips to (maybe) help you get a better ping.

1) Make sure all programs besides Minecraft are closed! The more tabs you have open on Chrome, trying to render a video while rendering, or even opening other things uses a lot of your bandwidth and will result in higher ping.
2) It might be unrealistic, but try to play when there are no other people using your internet. As stated above, more devices using Netflix or streaming YouTube equals higher bandwidth usage.
3) Buy better internet! Okay, this seems bad, but the better your internet, the better your connection speeds and ping will be. If you have a lot of people in your house using WiFi, you could possibly look in to getting a dual band router.
4) The following is something I honestly don't recommend. It could help if you turned off your firewalls on your computer. Note- I would not recommend doing this as it does open your computer up to many things.

I hope my advice is at least a little bit helpful, and I hope you have a bit better ping.
Happy Hunger Games, and may the odds be ever in your favor!

" Mom, can we move closer to Arizona so my connection to a Minecraft server will be better? "
"No."
Actually, I don't see why a Mom wouldn't want to move to Phoenix. It is only 110 degrees in the Summer, with occasional sand storms. Sounds like a great place to live.
