What in the world?!

So, im playing another game on Solar Frost, and its just me and one other guy. We were fighting before DM, he managed to escape before i could kill him. Then in DM, he was invisible..... He as there, he was attacking me, and every once in a while, i would hit him with an arrow, but eventually he killed me. Have any of you expierienced this problem? It was somewhat frusturating...
