Hello, I just thought of something that scares me, does minecraft end? If it does what happens, does it stop loading, does it circulate, what! Post your thoughts here!

Your computer, no matter how beast it is, would fry up and explode with all the Data you collected. It would be impossible to reach the limit of minecraft.

as OMGjustin said, no computer (maybe apart from those used by NASA and such) could handle all the loaded chunks you will have walked over. From memory Notch said that Minecraft is able to generate enough chunks to cover the surface of the Earth 8 times (given 1 block in a chunk is 1 square metre). even if you walked in just one direction from your spawn point, you will get nowhere near the 'edge of the world' before your PC has a heart attack and transforms into a Decepticon and murders you and your family...
Moral of the story: JUST DON'T DO IT!!!!

With a mod like single-player commands, you can tp to a place called the far lands. This is the end of 'normal' minecraft land generation, and then it goes all weird and gross. Don't go there, it laggs, alot!

If you want a correct answer for this now, It takes you too the edge, about 300,000,000 blocks away from the exact middle (x:0 y:0-infinite z:0) it ends in a place where the blocks will not render solid and you will fall right through, if you want to know what it looks like the blocks have no light to block them so it is completely light, and sand no longer exists, as with any other block besides ones like logs, grass, dirt and leaves.
