Hi now i use a gaming laptop and it rocks. Also travel so its perfect for me.

1: dont get alienwere they may look amazing but they are way overpriced.
2: i recomend the Asus G74Sx series= 8 g ram, 2 intel core i7-2620qm at 2.0 GHZ each, Nvidia geforse GTX 560m. 3gb
1.5tb harddrive = 2 hybrid drives at around 350g and one normal drive at around 380g. 17inc screen full hd 3D, with 3d glasses, bluray drive and rewriter this thing is a beast. i got mine for around £1.500.

Link to asus website http://www.asus.com/Notebooks/Gaming_Powerhouse/G74SX/
Amazon uk http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-G74SX-...RHIC/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1342450126&sr=8-4
But u might not leave in uk. Look around you can get this alot cheeper. At this moment in time this laptop is also one of the best gaming latops on the market. I hope this helped :)

Also runs crysis on full graphics which by the way is amazing.

Alienware is a good company for making gaming computers. Dell laptops are cheaply made, and HP has a heating problem, so those wouldn't be the best choices. Alienware is more expensive in general, so there might me some other?

You could always make your own. It's kind of tricky but there are plenty of online resources to help you.

Razer Blade.

Although I don't own one myself ($2800 is a lot of money), based on the specs, it would blow my desktop out of the water any day.
