As said above Brown came chasing after the cop with his hand in his jacket or whatever. It would look like he is pulling out a gun from the cop's POV. So in self defense he shot him. Innocent

When brown ran away he was shot once,them he put his hands up and surrendered, and then was shot 5 more times

I believe that the officer was guilty, but that the people of Ferguson reacted to the situation completely wrong. Looting and whatnot is just giving the media more fuel to put them in a bad light.
