What do you think of Homeschooling?

The title says it all. Have you ever been Home schooled, if so, what do you think of it. If you've done both Homeschooling and Regular School which do you prefer?
Here are my thoughts on it:

I wouldn't be able to give a very detailed opinion from both points of view, since I've been homeschooled my entire life (yes, even in preschool & kingdergarten.) It's not as isolating as many people think, since it gives me tons of free time, and it's also not as time consuming as many parents think. If you take enough initiative, you can get almost all your schoolwork done online using various free/cheap online programs. I personally am also in a group for Homeschoolers where we will hold our own events (talent shows, science fairs) and go on field trips, so I'm not really missing out in that aspect. From what I've heard, most areas have a local group of homeschoolers where they associate and do stuff together.

I was homeschooled all the way up until my fifth grade year. (About 6-7 years ago)
It was really fun, and I think that attributes to why I do so well in school, but I like the social aspect of public school just a bit more.

If I had the option, I would have done it when I was younger.

As Cubes I would prefer the social aspect of a public school. I've never been home schooled so I don't know what it's like but it sounds cool!

Nah, I love going to school. If you're on teachers' good side, they will let you talk in class and stuff. Just get your work done and everything is fun.

I would like to try it, but I don't think I would be able to stay in my house all day. I mean I love staying home but I think it would drive me mad. School's really one of the only excuses to get me out of the house :p

Being homeschooled (Virtual too, but he does it a different way) is really sucky for me :/
I have a single parent who's overworked already, and is managing a full time business, while at the same time doing accounting every single day because my father was an incompetent Im insulting someones family and I should feel bad who lied and cheated his way into like $500,000 debt somehow, so my mom doesn't exactly have a whole lot of time to homeschool 3 teenagers, 17/15/13.

With that said, I have to do almost all of my homeschooling by myself - no one to help me learn what I'm doing wrong, what I'm doing right. There's no trained teacher who can help me if I'm stuck, or anyone that I can talk to, really.
And then I'm addicted to the forums and League of Legends, so I make my own schedule which consists of only those two, which makes my mom pissed at me for not doing my homework.

If I was in regular school, I wouldn't have a choice to play LoL all the time, so I would be "forced" to do my schoolwork, and I would be on schedule. There's peer pressure to get my schoolwork done, and a sense of competition.

Trust me, I've thought about this for several months. In my position, I absolutely despise homeschooling. However, if my family was in a different situation then I'm sure I'd have loved to do homeschooling :)

Why do your parents not enroll you in public school?

Because of the business that my mom manages, as it involves us traveling around 170 miles every few weeks for a week at a time. Like, I'm gone for half of every month.

I am homeschooled, and it rocks. It's an easy schedule for me and gives me lots of time for other stuff, like Minecraft.
