Hey everyone. This is my first thread ever in the history of threads so don't be mad or anything if it's a tad bit unprofessional or just not attractive to the eye or anything of the sort. I'll improve it time aha ;).

Anyways, let's get straight to the point. I have no clue whether anyone else gets this problem like myself or whether it's a rare or a reoccurring problem. Whenever I join a server "ca3.mcsg.in" for example, it will always says "Unknown Host". But the odd thing about this, is that it says "Unknown Host '2.ca.mcgamer.net.' I have absolutely the slightest clue as to why it may do that. Still, I can change the server's IP and such, yet it will still remain as EXACTLY "2.ca.mcgamer.net."

Any answers, ideas, or suggestions anyway? It would be GREATLY appreciated. I am dying to play on a server

P.S. If this helps, this JUST happened. So hopefully that can shed some new light on something.

There has been this problem, which I think is part of Minecraft, where if you try and join a server too quickly or too randomly or something using the double click method or even the join server method, it may say "Unkown Host" or "End of Stream". You just have to wait a second and try again, it should work.

If that's not the problem, make sure your IP is right. Maybe try connecting to a different region, or just a different server then go back to the one you were joining before.

Also, the reason it says "2.ca.mcgamer.net" instead of "ca2.mcsg.in" would be because we changed from MCSG to MCGamer and I guess they changed the IP's for the server while also allowing the old IP's to continue working. Something like that, I don't know about this part.

This may be a network problem. Try look into reseting your router or modem. If this doesn't work try troubleshooting your internet connection in order to try to recieve the mcsg server connection.

Hope I helped.
