Unable to PvP

Hi i'm thedorkyd1, an Australian player that has been playing MCGamer survival for about a week now. Recently I have been trying out PvP on this server. It is almost impossible for me to get a single hit on anyone. I thought this might have been just because I am an Australian player and the Survival server was hosted in the US, so then I thought I might play a game of MCSG on the US servers. When I tried this, it was great, I could hit people from behind and get a few good combos on people. Now if the MCSG servers are hosted in the US and survival is hosted in the US, why am I getting worse connection to survival than MCSG. I'm not sure if it's because it's hosted in a different region, and for now I won't be partaking in any PvP, as I can hardly hit anyone and it is just frustrating for me. If anyone has any information about this issue I would really appreciate it if you gave me a bit of info about this, thanks!

Also it's understandable because au doesn't connect well with us but if you want to PVp with less lag try out mcgamer's au services

Were you maybe logged in during a period where the server was lagging? There's a lot of issues with lag still.

Errrrr I do play on the AU servers. There is no AU survival server though so I have to play on the US survival server and it lags a lot more than US MCSG

I have been playing on it for close to a week and haven't noticed any improvements, this may be because the server is new?

Aye, I know exactly where you're coming from. I'm from the EU and whenever I want to pvp, I lag. I suppose this is because the Survival Server is still in beta so you have to expect some problems. I'm guessing that problems with lag and such will be fixed as soon as possible. That's my hope at least.
Apart from this, we do have to thank Dave and Antster360 and all others that helped for their efforts and getting survival up. Ever since it went down back in about October/November (I can't quite remember), I and many others have been awaiting the return so a little lag isn't the worst thing if you think about it.

the reason why you would do better in mcsg is because the plugins are more optimized
