First your probably going to want to go to one of these:

These may not be perfect but to record a hacker or a game they'll do the trick.
Underneath I'll have a tutorial for each of these websites.
BANDICAM: open up the website and click download bandicam located to the right of the page. Once downloaded you can mess around with the settings. Change your hot-key (Activates the video) and other things. and what you want to do is drag that colored object that looks likes its recording in that circle. Drag it over that area that you want to record. than click record on the video or on the little recording tab. after the video is completed click stop and ship it off to YouTube.
FRAPS: download fraps or if you have 40 dollars lying around you can buy it. as the free mode can only download 30 second videos I strongly suggest you use for intros. so Download fraps. Open it up and go to the tab that says movies. Change your hot-key to which you think seems appropriate. after go to your desired game click your hot-key. After finished / when your done just click that hot-key again and you'll be right to post it.
after you've made a video if you use windows 7 you can use windows life movie maker. This is self explanatory and it also make your videos into 1080p and redeuce their uploading time.
