Transition from Spectator to Player

Hey, guys.
I'm new to this server and I've had a look around the forums and I can't seem to find any guide on switching from Spectator to actual Player... Could anybody point me in the right direction? It'd be much apppreciated.

Well whenever a game is already in progress you are already a Spectator
In order to play the map you must join a server which is in a lobby and when the lobby time is up you will spawn in the actual survival games.
