about a year and a half ago I played my very first game of survival games. I was of course very bad and I was using a trackpad. tens and hundreds of games had gone by and I still hadn't won a single game of MCSG. I remember having horrible luck, one game I had full iron in dm while the other guy (the last player) only had leather I got many hits on him and was extremely excited until he and I had gotten struck by lightning we both dashed back to spawn but the most horrible and unlucky thing that could happen to me happened. I fell in a trap, a hole with a cobweb with scorching hot lava below it. I died. I kept on trying but failed many times, having horrible luck while my ratio looked like the following; 0/1000. I was extremely frustrated and had taken on to telling other players to quit to give the crappy players like me a chance. One of these players I told to quit was Mr_Gears. Sorry Mr_Gears. This was around mid april 2013. I was tired of my trackpad and tired of losing. I went out to office max and bought a mouse and mousepad. later that night when I got back I played my very first game with the new mouse, I killed 8 players and won the game. I was extremely happy.
I went on to win 100 games at around august 2013 and 200 around October, and 300 in early January, I got to 400 and started to stray away from MCSG and played a lot of factions and such. around early August I came back and started to get back into it. Over the pat few weeks however, I've been playing baseball, the sport I have been playing since I was 3. The SF Giants are in the playoffs which makes me very happy hence my name lol. Anyway back to the topic, when I open minecraft I look at my server list and I have no excitement anymore. I don't want to play MCSG and get a win or try to become the most powerful faction anymore.
I see a lot of people in their 20's saying to try to accomplish what you want to do when you grow up and don't let life throw you around. Me being only 13, I do not want to become one of those people. I want to work hard to accomplish my goals and maybe just maybe I'll accomplish my goal of being a Major League baseball player. Its a giant longshot, I know, but I know it is possible and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen.
Here: is a list of people I want to thank:
