While thinking about this in the shower c: I literally thought this was a big topic to talk about in the community.

Basically what I am saying is that I really want some serious answers regarding towards this, So you guys know how the US Government talks nothing about diseases at all? I have a really good answer to all of that.
The Government is hiding something behind all of us that could help out the Human Race, I know that the US Government has cures to the following Diseases, Cancer, Diabetes, AIDS, Herpes, Ebola. Honestly it's true, this is America where Obama is president and his main factor in this county is Health Care and Health relating things that help people. Like It's obvious that this could be the answer since the US pays a ton to scientist to find cures and like it's been a long time since Cancer and other Diseases have been out so they have to have a cure by now and they just can't release it because there COULD be a breakout or riot in the US that could devastate the entire country and mostly likely cause more death's than any Human Tragedy in history.

Please post your answers below!

The more money and good attention the government gets the better. It's like this with everything the government deals with.

Trust me, it's probably a lot more they're keeping from us.
• Weapons
• Plans
• Secrets the world isn't ready for
• Classified information, bases, etc.

In a way, I usually considered it as a conspiracy, but imagine if all of it being true...

I've never been a big conspiracist. There are people who think that 9-11 was some sort of hoax put on by the US government, or that JFK's death was staged, etc... and most of those people have little to back up their theories other than a mere lack of information. (You can't prove my theory isn't true!)

The question is, are there really people out there who are born and raised to think like the government, or does everybody live a normal American life and then simply get pressured into keeping secrets should they choose to work for federal agencies? This is the key question when considering major long-term government conspiracies.

I know for one that the NSA has kept vital secrets from the US people, including both terrorist threats they have successfully prevented and threats they have failed to prevent. The US military also has some pretty amazing stuff that people don't know about, probably related to drones, etc... However, I find it extreme to say that the government is hiding amazing, harmless cures and technologies for no good reason. What would a government expect to gain from hiding this information? There is nothing wrong with curing people. Just curing someone of an expensive disease should be far cheaper than paying for their health care throughout their life. Unless you're saying that they are using information as leverage, which suggests that there is some kind of internal war that doesn't seem to exist.

Keep in mind that the diseases you have mentioned are very tough to cure. Cancer can reproduce in hundreds of different ways. We have found ways to cure some types of cancer, but cancer comes in so many forms that the term "cure to cancer" is a much bigger deal than simply mixing the right chemicals or finding the right plant. "Curing cancer" would mean finding cures to all types of cancer regardless of the stage they are in and they damage they have caused. Optimistically, the US has excellent survival rates for many types of cancer. For example, over 99% of breast cancer patients survive.

As for AIDS, Diabetes, and Herpes, these are viruses. (Ebola is technically a disease virus.) If you know anything about biology, then you will know that they are both partially living and impossible to cure once someone becomes infected with them. The common cold is a virus; we all become infected with it at a young age and have recurring instances of the cold throughout our lives. There is no known way to rid a virus from a living body.

Even if the government was supposedly hiding secrets, that wouldn't work because if US citizens heard about other governments successfully curing citizens of cancer, AIDS, etc..., then we would begin to question why we don't have the same thing.

As for the comment about the amount of money it spends on scientists to find cures, it does seem a little excessive. The US spends a stammering percentage of its GDP on health care and medical expenses, and it's because of a wide variety of reasons, the most prominent of which is the fact that the US government provides too much "padding" between various health care providers, allowing them to raise prices significantly. So why don't we experience more medical and technological breakthroughs? We do. The US is one of the most, if not the most innovative country in the world.

My mother is a huuuuuge conspiracy theorist, and to my slight annoyance she has passed on some of her "knowledge" to me and my sisters. Here's a summary of a few government-related theories that I remember.
I cannot confirm whether or not these theories are true, but from what I've seen and heard there is a decent amount of evidence.

- 911:
Within the ruins of the buildings, there could be found a type of melted metal that could be only created by a bomb or fire above a plausible temperature. A few days prior to the Twin Towers incident, people could see a series of unmarked, never-before seen white vans pulling into and around the building, and there were supposedly pictures (Oops! I almost wrote screenshots xD) of people carrying things out from them.
The President, for many hours after 911, reportedly did almost nothing. He just sat at his desk, thinking. Why? Some theorists suggest that he was, perhaps, involved in the plan.

- Chemtrails:
Ever seen a plane in the sky leaving behind a trail of thin white "clouds"?
Well, those might not actually be clouds...
Apparently, it is often tiny bits of metal such as aluminum. These aluminum bits help to repel some sunlight, and as the wind spreads it, it can help relieve some heat, and even contribute towards slowing global warming.
However, that very same metal has an adverse effect on the environment. While it may repel heat, it also gets into our ecosystems. It gets into crops, oceans, rivers, lakes, even the very air that floats down into our own houses. It is released at such a height that the metals - very, very small pieces, remember - can travel dozens of miles before finally hitting the ground. It is small enough and light enough that it does not fall enough to burn up.
In addition, some of those "clouds" are actually clouds.. of chemicals! (<-- I forgot the facts on this one, so I encourage you to do your own research on it)
The planes are generally government-commissioned, often operated by the air forces and military.

- Pharmaceutical Companies:
Major pharmaceutical companies, while professional on the outside, can be the exact opposite on the inside.
They are run by money-driven men and women - that's no big secret, as almost all large companies are the same in that aspect.
However, pharmaceutical companies would go as far as harming other human beings in order to benefit themselves. But to what extent, most people don't realize...
They know of cures for many of the major types of cancer. Simple and relatively inexpensive ways to rid you and your family of heart diseases, cancer, and so many other ailments, but what they want to do is sell expensive products to thousands of consumers... and rake in the cash!
It seems harsh to sling these accusations, yes, but with what they're hiding, I think they deserve a bit more than just a few stern words.
They have gone out of their way to censor and destroy research and findings from other, independent scientists who find cures to major ailments, and a number of researchers have reported that their laboratories have been broken into and vandalized, as well as their findings ruined, after they released information claiming to cure (so_and_so) diseases.

There's a few dozen more, but I figure only like 5 people read to the bottom of this post anyways, so I'll stop writing now :p
Ahh, it feels good to write a long post again. c:
