Description Of The Map:
Welcome to The Eye of Horus, a fantasy/desertscape Hunger Games map. The map all started with a simple idea - the desert biome. From this, Sardoz57 progressed to create the Palace of Horus, a megabuilding standing over the Northern side of map. From here, a city grew, a river, and a giant waterfall. The map began to progress into an expansive and detailed area - with a large variety of buildings and structures. Please refer to the screenshots below (default texture pack is included as the first Imgur link.)

Cornucopia
Build Time: 4 hours
The cornucopia is underneath a floating pyramid, held up by beacons of energy. This area is surrounded by ruined pillars of terraforming. Leaves, sandstone and birch wood detail the central area, and slabs mean there is little-to-no obstruction of chests.

The Palace of Horus
Build Time: 2 weeks (Sardoz57)
The Palace was the first building to be implemented on the map. It is an enormous building with a large, flat floor, optimised for PvP, especially a Clan War situation. It contains extreme block variation and was built solo by Sardoz57, with the minor help of some other builders.

The Pyramid of Energy
Build Time: 6 Hours (Sardoz57 and Austin_HG)
The Pyramid of Energy is built above the centre of the cornucopia, providing interest and a fantasy theme to the map. It is "held" midair by beacons of energy, and casts an everlasting shadow over the central shrine style spawn in the middle of the map. It also has an interior that can be accessed from some easy-ish parkour.

Ruins
Build Time: Numerous Days
The ruins are on the side from spawn out of the Runic Gate. The gate itself was built in a matter of hours, leading to a large battlefield with some islands of palm trees. Either side of this, there are the ruins, which are collections of ruined houses and small broken buildings, which are filled with traps and chests.

City
Build Time: Numerous Weeks
The city occupies almost the entire area behind the palace. We invented a type of building called "square houses," which are inspired by Prince of Persia and Assassin's Creed. Our main design feature for the entirety of the city is that no house has only one exit. Almost all of the houses are connected in some way, giving a new flow to gameplay.

Waterfall
Build Time: 10 hours
The waterfall is the largest piece of terraforming on the entire map. It comes from a massive water spring that exists just outside the sphere. The waterfall itself is lit up by glowstone, and wrapped in vines made from many leaves. Itself, it flows into a large lake and connecting river.

The Eye of Horus
Build Time: 20 hours (Austin_HG with help of Sardoz57)
The Eye of Horus is the namesake of the map. It is built on the outside of the sphere, and is surrounded in a rim of glowstone blocks. It can be seen from most of the map, hence the name. This was agreed on by Sardoz57 and I as the hardest thing either of us have ever attempted, taking near enough 6 hours to build the pupil and iris. The subsequent curves were built by Austin_HG, taking numerous extra nights to complete.
