Well, after thinking about this for 30 minutes here is what I came up with:

Looks a bit like lost ridge, (the same kind of teraforming) <-- I know that's wrong the spelling.
Maybe try adding some caves inside some of the spikes?
Try getting rid of the signs at spawn as well?
Other than that, it would be a good map to play once in a while!
