It was just the night before,
When I started to hang up the decor.
I ran downstairs for a cuppa coco,
When I heard 'Ho Ho Ho'.
I ducked down behind the chair,
When I noticed his bright white hair.
I watched in fright of this man,
Who is he, and will he take me away in a van?!?
I looked up to see him there,
And he gave me a glare.
He jumped right up and with a smile,
He vanished, leaving a pile.
After this I was saddened,
But I then realized what had happened.
With a poof of magic and a little belief,
Santa visited me, no matter how brief.
