So i played season one of the TWDG (The walking dead game) back in 2014. It was a great story building game, which i really crave, a good story in a game. And the fact that the story wasn't rail roaded makes it amazing. So i'm here to talk about what variables (Options you chose via talking) and what impacts it had on the game. I'm mainly gonna talk about Season 2, because im currently playing it.
Season 2, Episode 2
The biggest variable i theorize changed the game for me was the death of Alvin. I imagine if i had told Kenny to stop shooting, he would have stopped. Causing Carver to not kill Alvin and let him live. This would have made a huge impact on the game because we'd have another person in our group.
Season 2, Episode 3
This one was game changing i believe. When Bonnie took me away from Kenny and Nick and told me i could tell her anything, one of the options was to tell her of Luke, who had sneaked in. I chose against it, saying i needed to talk to Kenny. When i went to the room where Luke was, he wasn't there. You later find out he was sneaking around trying to get food cuz he was hungry, and got caught. Because he got caught, it caused Kenny to beat up bad, which made vengeance a thing Kenny wanted, and when the opportunity arose, he got it. I believe that if i had just told Bonnie about Luke (Because she helped us later in the story) she would've brought him food, causing him not to get caught, for Kenny not to get beat up, and for Carver to possibly live. But, it's possible it could've ended up the same way.
What options have you guys rank into that made an impact?
