Teams...

Well, we all know that teams exist, nearly everyone has teamed at least for a few games, a lot of people make pointless threads about removing teaming...

These types of threads are pointless! Teaming is a part of the game and won't be removed. Also, a funny thing is, one guy said that he wants the survival games to be like the books, in another thread, he stated that teams of 3+ shouldn't be allowed... The "careers" in the books were a big team of like 7, I think! So that guy's posts contradict each other... Right? Also, as many mods stated, teaming simply won't be removed, even if they wanted to remove it...how would they do it?

Now, you might think that we can have a rule against teams of 3+ like the Hive... Let me just point out something that a lot of mods already have, the Hive is struggling and failing with that rule, there are very many rule breakers there and, come on, be realistic, you can't prove if someone was in an enormous team, they can always say, "I dropped my spare set of full iron to burn it, just bad luck that I didn't see those 2 people in front of me!" And the problem is, some people are actually bad at this game and they will have such moments, like throwing out their spare sword instead of placing it into a different inventory slot... My point is that you can't prove this sort of stuff...

Also, teaming is fun! You get to talk to your friends, share fun moments, now, think about it, would it be fair on your friends if you said, "Sorry, can't team with you Jim, want to team with Bob right now.." That would be very disheartening and could ruin a lot of friendships. Also, if you're complaining about teaming, then just STOP! Get your own team together and have fun!

However, on the downside, this doesn't have to be removed, it just makes a lot of noobs stick out, the asking for teams in lobby is, in my opinion, stupid and risky. Teamers like that will often betray or will just get very annoyed with you. I, personally, am tired of people saying, "Team Incon? Plz i fan on YT" or whatever else. Also, on that subject, some people don't know how to spell people's names and want a team, now, that is irritating for people that you're trying to team with and they will be less likely to accept...
TIP.OF.THE.DAY: If you type the first few letters of someone's name in and click you list key (default is TAB), then the name will magically appear in chat.

TL;DR: Teaming wont get removed, it's part or the game...

True and many things that i have noticed in game is, Yes I play on a team and alone, when i play on a team and kill someone they will say: "I hate teams" then i always think to myself "wasn't he on a team??!!" and Normally they were and if not they did well. There are advantages to teams that playing alone can't do. Now unless you have the speed that a team has to get chest well then you are quite fast also if you have the ability to corner a person with just you then congrats you are currently as good as a team. But one thing that you can't have alone is your being chased by a full iron diamond sword and you have full leather and a stone sword how can you kill him? Wait for the lagg or maybe he will trip up? A team of two might get him because he can't fight 2 at once he can try his best to attack them at the sametime but he will always have to kill one then another. Teams can take a full iron diamond sword maybe with difficulty but its more than possible. Also if you team with random strangers maybe they have a communication program or use team speak and you guys can talk and continue to play together and build a friendship over MSCG, minecraft or etc. This is good making ne friends. Now as you said a lot of people do scream "Team" in the lobby and although its to get a team alot of the teams (in my opion) that are built this way end up with bias and people don't want their team mate to beat them so generally it is better to have a way to speak to one another so that you can build taht friendship and as you become better friends you can switch up and take turns in the wins.

I Personally play with friends often and its fun for us because we all know each other. Teaming even if there is a rule against it as you said it can't be proved and how do you know its not a truce? I've truced with a lot of people and if we run into eachother before deathmatch well then we give items to one another if we need stuff.

A tip that I use is if your not in a team don't spam the chat or say it like 100 times in the lobby try it once or twice or do what I do. I don't team in the lobby because it doesn't show there skill level it just shows that they want to team. Normally just play the game and if you are sked during the game or blocked at and you still want a team go for it. This method eliminates the weaker players so all the work isn't just on you and you can create a more balanced team.
