Overview:
Built in 1920 architecture, Athena’s Manor is a masterpiece. Designed for a family of 8, the manor includes a swimming pool, greenhouse, bowling alley and four basketball courts--only some of the 48 rooms. The completely wooden mansion has a moody, beauteous feel to it, and plays with dramatic lighting throughout its 5 floors. The map is designed for close-quarters game-play in its numerous hallways, but intriguing PvP in the mansion’s numerous open and spacious rooms. With redstone tricks and 120 well placed chests, this Survival Games map is certainly a contender to be accepted onto the Minecraft Survival Games servers. However, this is only possible if you vote for the map above in the poll!
Storyline:
The mayor has served his city well, and in return the townspeople call upon Athena’s powers to construct a perfect mansion. The constructors carve out mountains, and place pillars erecting the structure. When the mansion is finished, it’s amazing. The mayor moves in, around the time his son is having his 17th birthday. In honor of the new house, and his son’s birthday, the mayor organizes a huge party with people of all ages to come. However, terrorists who despise the mayors work disguise themselves as security guards and sneak into the party. They lock-down the building, kidnap the mayor, and trap everyone. The terrorists force 24 people to fight to the death inside the manor, broadcasted on live television in order to force politicians to change their ways.
Materials Used:
Athena’s Mansion main materials include Oak wooden Planks and Pine Wooden Planks. It also uses an excessive amount of stone brick, different colored wools, cobblestone, pine bark, glowstone, torches and redstone lamps for a lavish effect. The mansion holds an ominous and mysterious feel to it, a result of the strategically organized lighting. With original furnishings and an interesting environment, Athena’s Mansion certainly is a spectacular map. Yet, the map was only built in four days with seven people!

[Before Commenting!] Some answered concerns:
Another indoor Survival Games map? Pfft, just like Solar Frost.
Solar Frost is probably 2-3 times smaller, and way more close-quarter PvP oriented. Also, the only way to get ANYWHERE is Solar Frost is through corn, whereas in Athena's Manor, you can get anywhere without having to go to the center.
Are you sure it's big enough for a Survival Games Map?Yes. It is the same size as Survival Games 4 in length. And it does have five floors as well. Yes, it's huge.
Athena's Manor? Who the hell is Athena?
Athena is a Roman/Greek/Latin goddess. She is the goddess of war strategy and architecture.
Map looks kind of blank and empty.
Team Apollo went through it, added more chests, furniture and color schemes. However, the pictures were taken before the revamp. Yet, we are still adding more!
The map is too dark!!
Athena's Manor plays with dramatic lighting and darkness. However, the Shaders make this five times more prominent. It is still possible to play with/without shaders and the building is lit nicely.
