Status alert redirects me to thread

Whenever I get an alert on a status, I get redirected to a thread I recently posted on. I'm not sure what to do.

But then he wouldn't be able to receive alerts from the thread.

When clicking on Alerts, try clicking on the name of the Thread, it is hyperlinked.
