Spectators Leading Mobs(Game Runiner)

Ok, I was playing on server 15 I'm sure that doesn't matter, but anyways I was hiding in a house for the night and a spectators led in a bunch of mobs and one of the creepers blew up and killed me while there were 9 tributes left. So I pretty much died from a spectator, Someone please tell me if they are going to fix this.

I heard that there isnt much of a fix cos mob aggro is in Vanilla Minecraft itself. And personally i feel its not that bad as it can be avoided. Just my thought.

Well only spiders and endermen's can follow spectator's creepers dont.. they also dont attack you if you dont attack them just saying
