Okay the title lied, I doubt anybody knows what a competitions marching band is, but my band just competed in our last competition of the season and was wondering who else has marching band consuming their life? What organization do you compete in? What group? What band?
My band is from Tottenville High School. We are the only competiting public high school in New York City. We compete as a 5A band in USBands and came in 8th place at Nationals with a score of 85.7 (I feel we deserved higher). We compete as a 4A band in Tournament of Bands and came in 1st place at the Greater New York Championship with a score of 89.8.

Also fun note: My sister is the senior drum major who starts and ends the show. My brother is a sophomore 2nd trombone player and I am a freshman 2nd tenor sax player.
