I'm just going to give you steps on how to do it via screenshots.
1. Click your start button and type in "device manager" (if on Windows 8 without start button, click Windows key + r and type "devmgmt.msc").
2. Click "Device Manager" and wait for it to open.
3. Go to the "Network Adapters" option and open the arrow. (Bottom of my screenshot)
4. Find you Wi-Fi adapter. (Mine is the 4th one down)
5. Right click on your adapter and choose uninstall.
6. After you uninstall it, go to the Actions at the top and choose "Scan for hardware changes".
(I can't show the drop box because it closes when I try to screenshot)
After that it should reinstall it and then you just need to reconnect to your internet once you are done.
Let me know if that works. Good luck.
