Hello guys,

I'm sure this has been asked a lot of times and I'm sorry to bother you, I made sure I searched this forum thoroughly before asking for help.

But I basically made a signature which I'd like to apply to my profile, but every time I link the image it gives me this message:
The following error occurred:
Your content cannot be submitted, please try again.

So my question is; how do I go about fixing this?
By the way I've tried different images, they all won't work.
These images I tried:

Once again, sorry if I'm asking this and it has already been answered.
Thanks for reading, I hope you have an answer for me. :D

Hello,

XenForo's software can be a little bit picky with regard to adding images to posts or signatures. The only reasons that I could think of that might be preventing you from adding the images are:
  • You may be exceeding the word count of the signature (which is unlikely if you're only adding one image)
  • The images may be too large (which again, is unlikely because XenForo modifies the size of images to fit the user's screen)
  • You may be adding in the images incorrectly.
I've provided a tutorial below that I was able to personally complete and successfully add both images provided to my signature. Hopefully this will help you out! :]

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Go to edit your Signature.

2. Select the "Image" option on the taskbar and insert the image URL. I used the ImageShack URL you provided for the example.

3. (OPTIONAL) The image, when inserted, will most likely align to the left. If you'd like the image to be centered, select the image by dragging your mouse over top of the image in the signature and change the alignment to center.

4. Press "Save Changes" and image should be added to your signature.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As I stated above, I was able to successfully add both images you provided to my signature. If you come across any further problems, don't hesitate to respond to this thread and I'll see if I can figure it out!

Hope you're enjoying your time at MCGamer and MCSG! Hopefully I'll be able to play a game with you sometime in the future! :]

Thanks for the detailed explanation, this is exactly what I did in the first place, there have been a few more issues with my account. Because I also am a diamond sponsor, which doesn't show up under my avatar aswell.
Maybe because my account is new it's having problems?

TL;DR
It still isn't working, I'll just try again every hour.

The issue may be due to the fact that you're a New Member as well. Should issues continue with your account, contact one of the Administrators and they should be able to fix certain aspects of your account that aren't working. It may very well just be a bug.

For your Diamond Sponsor, if you haven't received your forum rank and it's been over 48 hours since you've purchased the rank, contact account support at: [email protected]

They'll get the account set to Diamond Sponsor as soon as possible (on average, responses take around 3 days).

I am a diamond sponsor in-game and I've had this forum account for a week I think, so maybe I should contact them yeah.
But thanks for the help, do you perhaps know when my account stops being a "new member"?

Joel helped you a lot here, or at least tried to.
I'm going to go ahead and lock this thread. :)
