Servers with space still say they're full

I'm new here, so there's probably something I missed, but every time I click on a server, with, say, 19/24 players, Minecraft tells me the server is full. Is there anything I can do to fix this, whether on Minecraft itself or elsewhere?

You'll be VERY supprised at how full they get from being empty. It was most likely full before you can join.

Full before you could join in AU server they fill up really fast because there's only 6 server.
If you refreshed the page and it still show that the data is wrong, it's probably the cache.
Just close your browser, wait for 30 seconds and then try to get to the server page again.
