Server Lag?

Ever since the new disguise thing for donors and stuff has been added, I have been getting some serious server lag. I mean like a 1-3 bar connection, and that goes with all the other players in-game as well. Before this was added, I would get 4-5 bar connection every game.

As 1.7 is a fairly new update, it has come with some bugs. After almost all updates there is a laggy bug. This will probably be patched in a future update, so please just sit tight.

Another reasoning for the lag may be that optifine isn't out for 1.7 yet. I'm sure the developers of optifine are on it, and it should be out soon.
