The only way I know of fixing this, is by allocating more RAM to minecraft. This can be done by following the steps in this guide:

I've never done this before, so I don't have any further advice. If this video doesn't help, simply google "How to allocate more RAM to minecraft".

Essentially, allocating more RAM to minecraft is like increasing it's memory capacity, and should solve your problem if done correctly :)

If you go into a multiplayer/singleplayer world and hit F3, it will tell you your used, and allocated memory (Top right corner). Looking at mine right now, my used memeory is 21% and my allocated is 39%, and I'm not getting any run out of memory messages. I would try allocating more memory to minecraft (As suggested by duckluv).

What is your used/allocated memory, just out of curiosity?

Hope this helps.

You have to raise the amount of memory. Download magic launcher.

Setup-Advanced-memory then use as much as you want

Yea there are different ways like turning all your options down...etc but the best is to increase memory for Java. Especially to preserve your game setting the way you like it

You can allocate more RAM with the new Minecraft launcher. When you are editing the profile, make sure JVM arguments in checked. You will see -Xmx1G in the text box. In there, you can change it to how many GB of RAM you want it to use by changing the number. Make sure to not use all of the RAM your computer has.
