Road designs?

Hey guys, I am making a town type thing on an SSP world. I am looking for a good road pattern, but haven't found one I particularly like yet. If you have any, please post them here. Thanks!

The one they use in the SG map 2 is regular stone as the road, and then obsidean as the lines in the road. Hopefully, this helps.

If you mean a road for a modern city SG Map 2 road is agood example but for medieval style in a village use gravel + Cobblestone

You could also use yellow wool to look like the lines in the road
