Reporting is pointless

I report every hacker I see and nothing happens so what is the point of reporting again?

You won't see a direct effect. When you report a players it'll notify the moderators that the player you reported might be hacking. They first need to spectate the player to make sure he is hacking, record him while he is hacking, render out the video they recorded and upload it to youtube before the player will be finally banned.

So it's pretty much pointless to even bother recording evidence. Might as well just give them the name and let them deal with it. lol.

To a point you are right, but what if the user goes offline after the game? Or what if there are no available moderators? If you don't feel like you should record the hacker, then don't. But the staff would appreciate it if you did, just make sure to report the player if you don't record him.

Recording hackers by yourself isn't pointless at all! While we don't have to record, render and upload the evidence of that hacker by ourselves, we can record another hacker. So we can simply get more hackers banned when you guys - the community help us out.
Of course recording the hacker by yourself is still the most helpful way, but if you can't, just do /report and the Moderators will deal with the reported player as soon as possible.

Because the computer I use isn't mine and I don't have the money for my own computer and I dont have upload speed enough to get the vids up

Then if you find a hacker, use the /report system, or poke a moderator on Teamspeak, that's why we're here!

Reporting players is not useless, if nobody did /report, and if nobody submitted report abuses, we'd have less than half the daily bans we rack in. Nuff said, and people would be complaining about hackers a lot more often. Thread locked, feel free to PM me with any further questions! c:
