So I recently got my new computer and when I don't record I get 150-250 fps but, I've been having recording issues with fraps.

When I record I only get 50-55 fps.

-My hard drive write speed is around 150 and I've tried using an external hard drive and there was no difference

-I can max out my settings or have them as low as possible and they are still the same

My specs are

AMD FX6300
Gtx 750
Seagate barracuda 1tb 7200 rpm
8gb 1600 mhz ram

Please I need help ;-;

Try opening fraps, going to Settings or something like that, and there should be a FPS think. I don't know, since my fraps got glitched.

If you have at least a dual core processor you can set Fraps and Minecraft to different cores.
To do this open up the Task Manager and right click on Fraps and go to 'Set affinity' and change it to Core 1.
Do the same for Minecraft but change it to Core 2.

What I love to do is have it set to 150 fps. If that makes you laggier for some reason try 120 fps. This should be found in the movie section or whatever. Because I feel restricted when I have it set to not go higher than 50 fps. And if you use optifine set your Fps to unlimited. My videos come out fine that way! Try everything I have told you and if you still have an issue just write it.
