Read Timeout Exception: Null

So I have had this error message before when trying to log on to the servers, but generally it works after a few minutes. Tonight however its been happening for about 2 hours and I can see from the site that there's no problems with the servers so I dont really know what to do. Anyone have suggestions? I've already deleted my .minecraft file thinking it may be a bug in there, but still the problem persists.

Problem unresolved, i waited all night for this to fix itself but i still cant login. I can log into other multiplayer servers, but the mcsg hub and servers i get the error message every time. Someone please help.

Test your packets and tell me the results. Generally it's the firewall that would be causing this, but it could be something else.

Try reseting your router, modem, computer or even your client. These solutions may help but if they do not, try contact your service provider to help check your internet.

Im having the same issue, but I can log in, and play for a few minutes. I can always see people moving around, but I can't type in chat. Then I get that message Read Timeout Exception: Null. Ive tried resetting my router, deleting my minecraft, updating java, shutting down my pc, but nothing will work. It does it on every server too.

It started happening right after a storm. Does that give you anything?

Having the same problem. Its hurricane season over in miami and I'm getting that read timeout exception null, but its only happening on mcsg for some reason..
