THIS THREAD IS TO TELL YOU WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARE UNABLE TO CONNECT TO MCSG, NOT FOR YOU TO COMPLAIN IF ITS DOWN!
I will explain 4 potential scenarios of what to do when
You are unable to connect to MCSG.​

1. Mojang is Down.
Like everyone, Mojang isnt perfect and things go wrong. When this situation arises, Monjang tries to fix everything as fast as possible and usually a Dev or Admin makes a post on the front page about what to do when this happens. The devs andor Admins will also try their fastest to update the thread when its fixed. For fast updates check Here. When this happens, the error might be really long and cryptic and you wont understand it. When this happens and you know its down, DO NOT make a thread here, We know its down and we cant do anything about it.
2. "Cannot Resolve Hostname"
This issue can be easily solved by making sure you have the correct IP.
Here are some of the IP's:
Hubs: us.mcgamer.net au.mcgamer.net eu.mcgamer.net
Direct: ca1.mcsg.in - ca25.mcsg.in | us1.mcsg.in - us200.mcsg.in | eu1.mcsg.in - eu150.mcsg |
au1.mcsg.in - au25.mcsg.in |
Yet again, DO NOT POST THIS ISSUE ON THE FORUMS UNLESS YOU ARE GUARANTEED USING THE RIGHT IP'S!
3. "Cannot Reach Server"
This issue is common, sometimes while restarting this can happen. You cannot join servers while this is error comes up. The error you will get if you try to join is "Cannnot reach server". Refresh a couple of times and this error should go away. If this does NOT go away, try either restarting your Minecraft, getting closer to your router (if your using WIFI), Restarting your computer or router. If this persists even AFTER that kindly ask a moderator if you have been banned, because this can sometimes happen. If you are not, and this is still happening, wait a couple days/hours and go from there. THEN post a thread here if this doesn't stop.
4. "Communication Error"
Sometimes when trying to rejoin the same server, this can happen. Like above refresh a couple times and it should go away. If this does NOT go away, try either restarting your Minecraft, getting closer to your router (if your using WIFI), Restarting your computer or router. If this is STILL happening, wait a couple hours/days. If this still persists, Post a thread here and we will try our best to help.

If anyone has any other errors/problems preferably some thing that has to do with Mac or Nvidia please post in the comments below WITH how to fix it, This would help others with different computers.
If a moderator+ would like to move this from General Support to Community Guides, I would advise from NOT doing that because it defeats the point of "Read this First"
Also, skickeying/Guiding this would help other users who have the same problems, it would make this easier to access!

I know, hence this thread.

But really, if there are any problems that happen a lot with mac or nvidia, post them below as I need to keep this thread updated for mac and nvidias too.
