We know you all have problems and need them addressed, but the truth is that you are not alone, and it is extremely likely that others have had your problem before. To help keep the forums clean, make sure that you follow these steps before posting issues.
1. Search is your friend- This forum has a very sophisticated and useful search tool. Try searching keywords related to your problem, 99/100 times, you can find someone who's had the same problem as you. If the problem wasn't resolved, you can either reopen the issue and describe your side of the story, or start a new topic. (It is preferred that you start a new topic if the old issue is over a few weeks old.)
2. Read the news!- The home page has everything you need to know. If the servers are down for a reason, you'll see that reason there. There's no need to ask here; it's wasting your time, our time, and pushing real problems back into the archives.
3. Use common sense- Most problems can be found on Google. Don't sit around waiting for us to help you when you can get the answer in seconds!
4. If you still don't find a solution, post thoroughly- Describe your problem, how to replicate it, what version of Minecraft you are using, what your operating system is, etc. Anything that can help us help you. Make sure to take (F2) and post screenshots, this will help us diagnose the problem, because we can see what you see!
If you read this entire guide, show your intelligence by replying with "Mooooshroom." ;P
If anyone else has anything to point out, please feel free to make an addition.
Thanks for your cooperation!
