I'm pretty sure there's no time limit at the moment, and I'm pretty sure there won't be any anytime soon because they added SoloSG for a reason. If you don't like playing against team play SoloSG, if you don't like SoloSG it's your own issue then.

Most of the time there are people that team no matter what, I have seen a team of 6 in just one game. It sometimes really aggravates people but I suggest playing solo if you want to prevent it.

Adding to what has been said-

Correct. There is no teaming limit for MCSG at the moment, therefore a 24 person team is completely legal. Teaming is frustrating for some people, especially if the team is quite large in numbers. Therefore I wouldn't recommend anything over 4. Teaming on SoloSG is not allowed, hence the name.
