Basics,
1. go for corn, the best stuff is there at the beginning.
2. Dont put any armor on until you get a weapon.
3. Organize your inventory to the best of your ability.
4. Team for fun, not to win.
5. tools do more damage than your fist.
6. find a chest route.
Medium tips,
1. when you get into a fight, try to run around them.
2. try and get a bow, they can be a life saver.
3. craft arrows and golden apples.
4. use fishing rods to hit people backwards(helps alot in water)
5. Flint N Steal can save you when your running away.
6. when fighting someone who has better gear than you, get the high ground and try to make them take fall damage.
7. when fighting teams, hit them with as many arrows as you can, the more extra damage you give, the btter chance you will have at winning the fight.
Pro tips,
1. try to hit people into fire with the fishing rod.
2. Know when to give up, dont run to the end of time, run to a place of tactical advantage.
3. make sure there are plenty of tier twos in your route.
4. put your sensitivity up, but make sure your used to it.
5. at the start of the game, dont chase people for points, get your route.
6. you can sprint under water and swim faster.
7. know what food has the best saturation.
