Alright, so the story is, the fight was almost over and we both had one Pokemon left. I had my Skarmory, and he had his Infernape. I was playing on the fighting type that Infernape had, and he was playing on the steel type that Skarmory had. So, we both would get 1 shotted. So it was a test of speed, whoever could move first would win the battle. What he had forgotten was that my Skarmory had sturdy, and when my Quick Claw failed to kick in and his Flare Blitz went first, my Skarmory held on with 1% health, enough to initiate Brave Bird, my Flying type move, to faint his Infernape. Unfortunately, Brave Bird comes with recoil, so the match ended in a tie.
