Points lost when leaving a server?

Sometimes when i leave servers and rejoin i lose around 100 or sometimes even 200 points. Why is this? I have a feeling it has something to do with the "Point exploit" Chad posted about but i'm not sure.

It depends, if you leave a server during lobby/spectating you should not be losing points. As for losing 100 points when you die that is because of the bug and giving the person that killed you triple points therefore you losing triple points.
