Thanks! So, are you talking about the ocean when you are talking about the water... or the river? And I'm kina confused on what you mean by the first few screenshots, anyway, the reason we let off of some detail is because my last map, http://www.mcgamer.net/threads/ant-mound-sg-1-7-1-8.157649/ , had so much detail that it took away from the gameplay.

Plymouth contains the contains the perfect balance between aesthetics and gameplay.

Anyway, I thank you for your suggestion!!!

To clear it up:

The ocean (with the large boat in it) is too empty. Add things like lilypads, or small structures in the water ( small islands, or boulders). Some of the areas shown in the screenshots seem too empty, and bare. Add small structures, buildings, more grass / plants etc. I understand what you mean by wanting to have good gameplay, but I think that you can have good game-play, by adding some of my suggestions

Doney, I thank you a lot for you kind words!

Fusion, this is what I'm afraid of, people have different opinions about the balance between detail and gameplay. I could compromise, add more spikes in the ocean, add a bit more grass to some areas. But I don't want to overdue it. Anyway, if you guys have suggestions about adding a bit of detail, pleasee give your opinions!
