On numerous occasions I find that my posts have been deleted, usually because they quote a post that the staff is trying to get rid of, or on some rare occasions because the staff had a problem with my post.
The problem is, when I do post something that the staff had a problem with, they never send me a PM telling me why there was a problem with it. Instead, I have to PM a random staff member (since I don't know who deleted it) and tell them what I posted and ask for an explanation. Of course, this is only the case if I realize that my post got deleted in the first place. How can staff except us to stop doing something wrong, if they never tell us that we did something wrong and why?
It should be standard protocol that the person who's post was deleted, is PMed by staff explaining the reasoning. This might sound like a tedious thing for staff to do, but in the long run it will help ensure that the forumer learns from their mistake. It also makes sure that the correct staff member is in contact with the player, instead of the player PM a random one by themselves.
Yes, I know staff will sometimes post warning in the thread itself, but there are several times where they just delete stuff without giving the player any reasoning. It is kind of like banning someone without saying why. In my opinion this should be changed.
