I spent three hours playing this weekend scouting out land for a faction. Along the way I found a faction, after i located their secret entrance by following redstone to a piston. Then I found a hole and enderpearled in. I jumped down a steep pit with water at the bottom and found the main area. Only problem was their was a player there. I shifted and sneaked attack, however how would a noob like me know that you have to first make them the enemy before you can fight. I lost everything I had gotten after hours of playing, and searching for ground. I had my first 6 diamonds, lots of food, 20+ gold, more than a stack of iron, and good armor. I also lost the sword you get when u start off, and lots of other good stuff that I was bringing to my new faction. All i have left now is some basic stuff I left in my ender chest incase i died.

Thats why you first put the valuables either on your ender chest or create your own faction before fighting someone.

I know, but as I said I did not know their was a player there, and they did not see me so it was an easy sneak attack kill. If I had been able to hit.

If anyone wants to donate stuff. (just like some armor and food to get me started again) I would really appreciate it. I am very upset right now. All my youtube subscribers will be like, I watched all that, and then he those that and loses everything.

Welp, the point of a faction server is to live and die. Thus, it shouldn't be that hard to get started again

It will be, I have food and an iron sword in my enderchest. Plus, a ton of enchanted books thats all. Still so many hours wasted. If I had died fairly I would be fine with it, it is just the manner in which I died that has me really upset.

Before playing Factions, research about factions and etc. Use enderchests, use /f f, and etc.
