Out dated client

I was playing MCSG and the sever was restarting and when i tried to log in the server it said "OUT DATED CLIENT" What does that mean plz help

I think its a bug.. caus you said you was playing earlier.

EDIT : Can you join back now?

update your minecraft client? if it doesn't work delete the .minecraft file and try force updating once more.

Dassssss wierd.. Maybe the Authentication Server went down momentarilly?

I was trying to upload a texture pack and some how it switched to 1.2.3 but I figired it out Thx !
