Hello once again art section, I'm thinking of making another thread to give away avatars in a new style which I have been enjoying the past few hours! :p

I just need peoples opinions on my attempt so far as I'm struggling to get more done at this point, what do you guys think?:

What do you mean by that? o_O
Like, when you improve on this style, do you see it as being more cartoony, bigger eyes, exaggerated expressions, bright colors; or do you want it to be more semi-realistic with proportions, shading, and higher detail. The feedback that I would give you would change depending on how you want to progress with your art. :p

2 things that I would suggest are
1) Before you start with your final black lines, do a sketch of it in a lighter grey on a different layer. This is just to figure out where exactly you want your lines and work out any issues before hand, it can be as sloppy as you want. After I started doing this, it really helped.
2) I'm not too familiar with the Corel programs, so I'm not sure if it has a brush stabilizer. If it does, turn it up when your doing your final lineart. It will make your lines smoother if you do them in one long stroke.
Really excited to see more illustrators here. Keep it up man ^-^b

I was lazy when I did this and I didn't do a pre-sketch but I did that with the recent avatar I've done and it does really help and I will have to look into some tutorials on painter as I really don't know it :p
Oh and I'm not a new artist, I'm one of the few original people who used to draw avatars for people on here! :p (Me, Unchained, OTSchuazer, fushisushi and joker are the only ones I can currently think of)
