The music we listen to now is greatly differed from what it used to be. While most of our generation have adopted interest in modern music, some would rather listen to the older music from the periods of 1960-2000 or a little bit of both (like myself).
If you share the same interest in older music, post below your favourite musicians, bands and songs from the 'olden days'.
Personally my favourite band from the past is Pink Floyd; their music was unique to me when I first heard it (I found Comfortably Numb to be a rather interesting piece of music, and to this day I'm not sure if my theory on it being about tripping on LSD is correct). My favourite solo musician is Jimi Hendrix; in my books and many others as the greatest electric guitarist to have ever lived. Being a guitar player myself, listening to what Hendrix could do with a guitar is really inspiring. Favourite songs of the time period were All Along The Watchtower (both Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix versions), Hotel California and Stairway to Heaven.
