not ranking?

I went on vacation, and when i returned i noticed i went down something like 40 ranks on the leaderboards. i figured Ok makes sense, but since then i won something like 14 games and im at the same rank. its never been this hard to rank up, but maybe im just being stupid can someone explain this to me?

I've read in a lot of other forum threads that there was a bug/problem in the leaderboards with wins/points/killstreaks etc.
It's probably just a bug.
