So I started this map at about 7 last night, and to be honest I think ive made quite a bit I always thought that a nordic mountain/skyrimy map would be really cool to play survival games on, so thats the style ive based this map around. So please, when giving constructive criticism, take into account that ive only just started
Concerns:
Are the mountains obviously created with world edit?
Is the cornucopia a bit too ancient?
I'm not really sure how to upload photos, so if they dont appear then I apologise
An Eagles eye view of the cornucopia. As you can see, the cornucopia is covered in ivy and leaves. The players must break through them to reach the treasures within. Do you think this ancient druidic look is ok? If not, please explain an alternative
Just another view of the cornucopia. Take into account that once the leaves are all broken, it looks as good as new;P I am also aware the player podium thingys are not there, this is because I havent got round to making them yet.
A close up of the cornucopia.
On one side of the cornucopia is this monumental entrance that leads into a forgotten dwarven city. I thought adding this underground city would add a little variety to the map.
I tried to make it so on one side of the cornucopia is this beautiful, natural archway, and on the other side is the entrance to the dwarven city. One may say this is biased, but on the other two sides are chests and exits lining the mountain side.
Well, its a tree, that you can go in
An eagles eye view of the cornucopia with the surrounding mountains. I understand this needs a bit of work, and I will get round to it.
The underground bridge that leads to the forgotten city. Once again, I think this needs a bit of work.
An abandoned church that I made.
So, this is what ive created so far, in about 3-5 hours of play time. I see it as quite an achievement So, this is my map, about 3% completed. What I really want to do is trouble shoot the problems you guys see in the map now, rather than later. Thankyou for your time.
